Your portfolio is a public page of selected work at youragency.postvito.com/work, with your logo and brand colour. Nothing on it is public until you publish a piece and put the page live.
Adding work
There are two ways:
- From a project: on an image or video your client approved, click the portfolio icon and choose a new piece or an existing one. A copy goes into your portfolio, kept separately, so it stays when the review file is deleted 30 days after approval. In the piece it's labelled Client-approved.
- Directly: in Portfolio, open a piece and click Add files. Use this for any other work you want to show; it isn't labelled as approved.
Portfolios take web images (JPG, PNG, WebP, GIF or AVIF) up to 20 MB and web video (MP4 or WebM) up to 500 MB, so pages load quickly for visitors. Export a smaller copy of anything bigger. PDFs can't go on your portfolio; they're fully supported in client reviews. Files are checked after upload, and anything else (a renamed zip, for example) is refused.
Each piece
- Title and a short caption (up to 400 characters).
- Client: optional. It's only shown if you tick Show the client's name, and publishing then asks you to confirm they agreed to be named.
- Section: optional, for example Branding, Video or Social. When pieces have sections, your page shows filter tabs.
- Page layout: the piece's own page, top to bottom, built from blocks. Drag the handle on a block to move it, or use the arrows.
- Files: each file starts in a row of its own. Use Add a file beside it to put up to three in a row, choose the frame shape (its own shape, square, portrait, landscape or widescreen), whether it shows it all or fills the frame, and for two files, equal or wide-and-narrow widths. Each file can have a caption.
- Add block adds a Gallery (a grid or a slideshow of images and videos), Before / after (two images with a slider), Text (a heading and paragraph, centred or larger if you like), Quote, Video link (a YouTube or Vimeo video), Results (up to four big numbers, like +42%) or a Divider.
- Tick Band on any block to sit it on a tinted background.
- Each file appears once on the page. Picking a file for a gallery or before/after moves it there; the ✕ on a file takes it back out into its own row.
- Preview: switch to the Preview tab to see the page with your theme, font and colour, including changes you haven't saved yet.
- Cover: click the star on a file to use it as the picture in the grid. A piece from before this update that showed a PDF needs those files deleted; they aren't shown any more.
Click Save to keep your changes. New files are added to the end of the layout.
Click Publish when it's ready. Each time, you confirm you have the right to publish the work.
If you later add files to a published piece or change the client's name, those changes stay off your page until you click Confirm and update. Everything else, like text and layout, updates when you save.
Unpublish takes a piece off your page straight away. Links to its files that someone already opened or copied keep working for up to an hour. To remove a file completely at once, delete it.
The page
In Portfolio › Page:
- A heading, a short about text, and a contact email or website for the "Get in touch" button.
- Appearance: a 3-across or 2-across grid, one large piece per row, or a wall that keeps each image's shape; a light or dark page; and a choice of heading fonts.
- Top of the page: show your logo, your agency name, or both.
- Put page live when you've published at least one piece. Take offline hides it again.
Change the order of pieces by dragging the handle on the left of each one, or with the arrows.
Storage
The portfolio has its own allowance, separate from review storage: 1 GB on Solo, 5 GB on Studio and 20 GB on Agency. The free trial includes 500 MB and 6 pieces.
If your plan or trial ends, the page goes offline straight away, and portfolio files are deleted after 60 days with the rest of your files, unless you choose a plan first.
