Generating a pack by hand for every client every month gets old fast. Recurring packs automate the generation step: PostVito builds the next pack on a schedule and leaves it waiting for you to review.
Recurring packs are available on Starter and above.
Turning it on
Open the client and stay on the Content packs tab — the Recurring content card sits at the top. There you set:
- Cadence — Weekly for high-tempo clients, Monthly for the usual retainer rhythm.
- How many posts each pack should contain. PostVito suggests a number based on how many channels the client has connected.
- A standing focus (optional) — an objective carried into every generation, so a seasonal push or a product launch keeps steering the output.
Switch it on and the card tells you the date of the next pack.
What happens on schedule
When the cadence comes due, PostVito generates the pack in the background and lands it in a ready for review state. It does not auto-send to the client and it does not auto-publish. Nothing goes out under your brand without a human looking at it first. You get a pack to review exactly as if you’d generated it yourself.
Your review still matters
Auto-generation saves you the first draft, not the editing. When a recurring pack lands:
- Read every caption — generation is only as current as the brand profile behind it.
- Add the visuals: attach client assets, generate images, build the carousel decks from their outlines.
- Trim posts that don’t fit this month’s priorities.
- Share it with the client when it’s right.
Keeping recurring output fresh
Because recurring packs pull from the brand profile each time, keeping the profile current keeps the output current. If a client shifts focus — a new product line, a seasonal push — update their tone of voice and content pillars, or set a standing focus on the card, so the next auto-generated pack reflects it.
Note: Recurring generation costs no credits — it writes the copy, not the visuals. Credits are only spent later, when you add AI images or build carousels for the posts you decide to keep.
