Reporting is what turns a pack of published posts into something a client will pay a retainer for. PostVito tracks performance per client, so you can show each one exactly what their content did.
Finding a client’s numbers
Open Measure in the left rail and choose Reports, then pick the client from the Client selector in the report builder. (Measure → Post performance is the same data post by post if you’d rather browse than export.)
Because every published post is tied to a client, the numbers you see — views, likes, comments, shares, saves and engagement rate — are that client’s alone, across every channel you publish to for them. If the client runs paid ads through PostVito, the Paid ads section adds spend, impressions, clicks and ROAS.
Reading the numbers
Focus on a few things rather than every metric:
- Top performers — the posts that outperformed. These tell you what to make more of next pack.
- Per-channel breakdown — where this client’s audience actually engages, so you can weight future packs.
- Trend over time — whether the account is growing, flat, or slipping across the window.
Use the top performers as a brief for the next pack: if carousels on LinkedIn consistently win for a client, lean into that when you generate.
Generating the report
In the report builder, pick the sections you want — Overview, Top posts, Platform breakdown, Engagement, and Paid ads for clients running ads — choose a date range, and choose a format:
- PDF — the client-facing document.
- CSV — the raw numbers.
- Both — PDF and CSV together.
- Share link — a live web view you can send instead of an attachment.
Then click Generate report. You can download it immediately or have it emailed when it’s ready. The finished report appears in the list below with Download and Share actions, and generated reports are kept for 90 days.
What it costs and how far back it goes
Reading analytics and generating reports costs no credits on any plan.
On Pro and Business the PDF and the shared report page carry your agency’s logo, colours and name — the client sees your brand, not PostVito’s. On Free and Starter they carry the PostVito mark.
Your plan also caps how far back the numbers go: 14 days on Free, 90 days on Starter, a year on Pro, and the full history on Business. Ask for a window longer than your retention and the report simply has less to show.
Making reporting a habit
The agencies that retain clients report on a rhythm — usually monthly, alongside the recurring pack. A short report that shows real numbers and names the wins does more for retention than any single viral post.
Note: Reporting only covers posts PostVito published to the client’s connected channels. Content posted outside PostVito, or on a channel that wasn’t connected at publish time, won’t appear in the figures.
