Some clients need more than one person to say yes: a marketing lead, someone in legal, the boss. Name them as approvers when you send a round.
Adding approvers
On the Who it's for step of Send for review, add an Approver name and Approver email for each person. Click + Add another approver for the next one.
Each approver gets their own link to the round. If PostVito emails the round, each approver receives their own email with their own link. If you send it from your own email app, you'll get a ready message for each of them.
How the round is decided
- The round is approved once every approver has approved.
- It closes as changes requested as soon as one approver asks for changes.
- Anyone else with the plain round link can still view the files and comment, but can't approve or ask for changes.
On the project's Rounds tab you can see where each approver stands, with the time and any note they left. You're notified as each one signs off.
What it proves
An approver's personal link is the only way to approve as them, and the name they give is recorded with the time. That shows the decision came through their link. It isn't an identity check or an electronic signature.
