A content pack is a batch of ready-to-review posts generated for a single client in one go. Instead of writing posts one at a time, you generate a month’s worth, edit what needs editing, add the visuals, and send the lot for sign-off.
Generating a pack
Open a client and click New content pack. Give the pack a title, optionally set this month’s focus, choose how many posts you want and which of the client’s connected channels to write for, then click Generate content pack. Generation runs against the client’s brand profile — tone of voice, content pillars, audience, guardrails.
Generating a pack is free on every plan. It doesn’t touch your image-credit balance.
What’s inside
A pack is a set of posts. Generation writes the words, not the pictures. Each post arrives with:
- A caption — written in the client’s voice.
- Hashtags — where the platform calls for them.
- A call to action — drawn from the client’s preferred CTAs.
- A short-video script — where the format calls for one.
- A carousel outline — for carousel posts, a slide-by-slide list of the text that goes on each slide.
Visuals are added afterwards. In the pack editor you attach an image from the client’s Library, upload one, generate one with AI, or build the carousel deck from its outline. Those are the actions that spend image credits — see How AI image credits work.
Editing items
Nothing is locked. Before you share the pack you can:
- Rewrite captions — the draft is a starting point. Tighten it to sound exactly like the client.
- Add or swap the image — attach a client asset, upload your own, or generate one.
- Edit an image — the built-in editor handles background removal, generative fill and outpainting without leaving the pack.
- Build and edit the carousel — turn the slide outline into a deck, then change text, swap images or reorder slides.
- Remove posts — drop anything that doesn’t fit. A pack doesn’t have to ship whole.
From pack to published
Once the pack reads well, click Share with client to send it for sign-off under your brand. The client approves post by post and picks when each one should go out; approved posts are then scheduled to the client’s connected channels. Publishing costs no credits, and scheduling for a future date is available on Starter and above.
Note: To stop kicking off packs by hand every month, switch on the Recurring content card at the top of the client’s Content packs tab. PostVito generates the next pack automatically and leaves it ready for review. See Recurring content packs.
